Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to administer bedside and personal care to patients with compassion and professionalism, administer medications accurately following prescribed dosage and timing, and assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene respectfully and sensitively
- The candidates should be able to assist in regular exercise routines, such as walking, to promote physical well-being, change non-sterile dressings as directed by healthcare professionals maintaining cleanliness and infection control, and feed or assist in feeding clients to ensure they receive adequate nutrition and hydration
- The candidates should be able to launder clothing and household linens following care instructions and maintaining cleanliness, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and comfortable environment for clients, and provide companionship and emotional support to clients promoting their overall well-being
- The candidates should be able to provide personal care as needed, respecting clients’ preferences and maintaining their dignity, and prepare and serve nutritious meals according to dietary guidelines and clients’ preferences
