Salary: $14.00 to $16.50 hourly (to be negotiated) 16 to 40 hours per week
Employment Type: permanent employment Part time leading to full time
Location: Middle Sackville, NS
Shifts: Night, Weekend, To be determined, 21:00 to 05:00
Transportation information: The candidates should have own transport
Work setting: Various locations, Commercial building, Shopping centre or mall
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Experience and specialization: Industrial vacuum cleaners/power sweepers, Carpet cleaning machine, Polishing machines
Credentials: Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
Security and safety: Candidates should have clear criminal record
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, be physically demanding, and a repetitive tasker
- The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail
- The candidates should be able to bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods
The candidates should be able to handle weight up to 23 kg (50 lbs.)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be client focus, reliable, dependable, flexible, initiative, organized, and be able to work as a team player
- The candidate should have values and ethics
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs
- The candidates should be able to empty trash cans and other waste containers, wash windows, interior walls and ceilings
- The candidates should be able to clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures
- The candidates should be able to work with minimal supervision
