Shifts: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, Flexible Hours, Morning
Transportation information: Own transportation, Willing to travel regularly, and Public transportation is not available
Work setting: Rural area, Work in employer’s/client’s home, Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is NOT a condition of employment

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Experience with special needs children: Assistance with mobility
Security and safety: Criminal record check, Reference required, and Vulnerable sector check

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be non-smoking and adhere to scent-free policies within the workplace, comfortable with bending, crouching, kneeling, sitting, standing, and walking throughout the workday, and physically fit to meet the demands of a physically demanding role
  • The candidates should thrive in a fast-paced environment, handle heavy loads as required by the job, and be prepared for repetitive tasks as part of their daily responsibilities
  • The candidates should be comfortable with sitting and standing for extended periods during the workday, walking as necessary for job duties, able to work effectively under pressure, and capable of lifting weights of up to 23 kg (50 lbs) as part of their job requirements

  • The candidates should demonstrate punctuality in meeting work schedules and deadlines, exhibit a strong focus on client needs and satisfaction, and demonstrate dependability in fulfilling job responsibilities and commitments
  • The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills for effective communication with clients and colleagues, have excellent oral communication abilities to convey information clearly and professionally, and display flexibility in adapting to changing circumstances and tasks
  • The candidates should show initiative in taking on tasks and finding solutions independently, exercise good judgment in decision-making and problem-solving situations, and be organized in managing tasks and responsibilities
  • The candidates should be reliable in consistently delivering high-quality work, be team players capable of collaborating effectively with colleagues, and demonstrate excellent written communication skills for clear and effective correspondence

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to register arriving guests, assign rooms, process group arrivals and departures, take, cancel, and change room reservations, and provide information on hotel facilities and services
  • The candidates should provide general information about points of interest in the area, investigate and resolve complaints and claims, process guests’ departures, calculate charges, and receive payments, balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms, and maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments
  • The candidates should follow emergency and safety procedures, perform clerical duties such as faxing, filing, and photocopying, answer the telephone and relay telephone calls and messages, assist clients/guests with special needs, handle wake-up calls, and provide customer service
