Transportation information: Transportation supplied to and from work
Work setting: Fruit and vegetable processing plant, Food and beverage plant, Meat processing and/or packing plant/establishment, Feed mill, Manufacturing and industrial plant
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the French Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Security and safety: Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be tolerant of various odors and comfortable working in cold or refrigerated environments
- The candidates should be able to work in wet or damp conditions
- The candidates should be accustomed to performing repetitive tasks and possess manual dexterity for various tasks
- They should demonstrate excellent hand-eye coordination, have a keen attention to detail, and be capable of standing for extended periods
- Comfortable with bending, crouching, and kneeling as needed, candidates should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads
- They should be willing to work overtime as required and be physically capable of handling demanding tasks efficiently under pressure
- Experience with weight handling, up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) is essential for the candidates

- The candidates should demonstrate efficient interpersonal skills and show flexibility in their approach to tasks
- The candidates should demonstrate reliability in their work, showcasing effective team player skills.

- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to demonstrate food safety/handling skills, ensuring compliance with hygiene and safety standards
- The candidates should be able to measure and dump ingredients into hoppers of mixing and grinding machines, following recipes and production requirements
- The candidates should provide customer service, assisting customers and addressing their inquiries or needs
- The candidates should manually pack goods into bags and boxes or other containers, ensuring proper packaging and presentation
- The candidates should check products and packaging for basic quality defects, maintaining quality standards
- The candidates should clean machines and immediate work areas, following sanitation protocols and maintaining a clean and safe work environment
