Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience:Â Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Communication systems experience: Operate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment
Transportation/travel experience: Long-haul
Credentials:Â Air Brake (Z) Endorsement and Driver’s License (Class 1 or A)
Security and safety:Â Driver’s validity licence check and Driving record check (abstract)
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to lift weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

- The candidates should have efficient interpersonal skills for effective communication and demonstrate flexibility in adapting to changing work conditions
- The candidates should exhibit sound judgment in decision-making and be organized in managing tasks and responsibilities

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to address customers’ complaints or concerns with professionalism in customer service and arrange travel-related itineraries and reservations
- The candidates should be able to drive as part of a two-person team or convoy, drive lighter, special-purpose trucks, and load and unload goods
- The candidates should be able to operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, oversee the vehicle’s condition, inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment, and perform brake adjustments
- The candidates should be able to pay and receive payments for goods, perform emergency roadside repairs, perform pre-trip, end route, and post-trip inspections, oversee all aspects of the vehicle, and perform preventive maintenance
- The candidates should be able to receive and relay information to central dispatch, record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, and ensure the safety and security of cargo while transporting and handling dangerous goods
