Position: Internal medicine specialist
No of Vacancies: 1
Salary: $360,000 to $700,000 annually (To be negotiated) for 35 to 60 hours per week Minimum wage is guaranteed
Employment Type: Permanent employment Part time leading to full time
Location: Etobicoke, ON
Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend, Overtime, Flexible Hours, To be determined, Early Morning, Morning
Work setting: Private practice and Physician’s office
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine or optometry, or equivalent experience, and Medicine (MD)
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 5 years or more
Specialization in clinical medicine: Internal medicine
Specialization in surgery: General surgery, and Orthopedics
Own tools/equipment: Cellular phone
Credentials: Specialty residency training and Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities
Security and safety: Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate attention to detail and be comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate dependability and possess efficient interpersonal skills, along with excellent oral and written communication
- The candidates should exhibit initiative and interpersonal awareness, demonstrating sound judgment and organizational skills
- The candidates should demonstrate flexibility, reliability, and teamwork, upholding values and ethics in their work
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should conduct medical research on human disorders, illnesses, preventive, or curative methods, contributing to healthcare advancements
- The candidates should assess patients’ diseases or disorders to determine appropriate surgical procedures, ensuring accurate diagnosis and treatment planning
- The candidates should act as consultants to other physicians, providing expert advice on complex medical cases
- The candidates should diagnose and treat diseases and physiological or psychiatric disorders, addressing patients’ health concerns
- The candidates should order laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures as necessary, facilitating diagnosis and treatment planning
- The candidates should prescribe medication, treatment, and refer patients for surgery when indicated, managing patients’ healthcare needs comprehensively
