Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of secondary school graduation
Experience: Candidates should have a minimum of one year of clerical or administration experience

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to fly in aircraft (fixed wing and rotary) and willing to work extended hours, including weekends, and be on standby with limited notice in accordance with the preparedness plan
  • The candidates should be able to travel and overnight in remote locations where accommodations may vary
  • The candidates should be able to work under adverse or stressful conditions, including smoke, extreme heat, and mountainous terrain in remote and isolated conditions

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • The candidates should have experience with contract management and working with administration policies, standards, and procedures
  • The candidates should have experience in financial management, including accounts payable, receivables, the general ledger, and computer-assisted accounting and reporting systems
  • The candidates should have experience in keyboarding, word processing, creating spreadsheets, and working with standard computer applications Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • The candidates should have experience facilitating, executing, and evaluating competitive bidding events Invitation to Tender, Request for Proposal, Request for Quote and experience with supplier relationship management
  • The candidates should have experience computing various mathematical calculations and using applications to enter and retrieve data, performing accounting functions, and producing financial reports and experience managing workload priorities and meeting deadlines
  • The candidates should be flexible regarding ongoing changes in responsibilities, assignments, and corporate structures and keep current on emerging issues
  • The candidates should take in-house training and certification and participate in Incident Command System positions

  • The candidates should be able to provide essential advice and guidance on the procurement process, ensuring that contracts are accurate, timely, and compliant with legal and policy requirements
  • The candidates should be able to work to keep important projects on track and ensure timely payments
