Salary: $62,000 to $80,000 annually (To be negotiated) for 44 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: 168 Industrial Drive Borden-Carleton, PE C0B 1X0
Shifts: Day, Evening, Overtime, Morning
Transportation information: Valid driver’s licence and Own vehicle
Work setting: Industrial construction, Oilfield construction industry and Commercial and/or industrial construction

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have obtained a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, or possess equivalent relevant experience in the field
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 3 years to less than 5 years
Computer and technology knowledge: Primavera, AutoCAD, MS Access, MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS Project, MS Word
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Credentials: Professional Engineer Certification (P. Eng.), Construction Trade Certification, Project Management Professional (PMP), Gold Seal Membership in the Canadian Construction Association and Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification offered by the Canada Green Building Council

  • The candidates should be capable of working effectively under pressure, maintaining composure and productivity to meet tight deadlines

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to hire and supervise the activities of subcontractors
  • The candidates should be able to plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones and monitor progress
  • The candidates should be able to operate CADD and other computer software systems
  • The candidates should be able to read blueprints, schemas, and drawings
  • The candidates should be able to select trade subcontractors and coordinate their activities
  • The candidates should be able to plan and manage budgets
  • The candidates should be able to direct the purchase of building materials and land acquisitions
  • The candidates should be able to plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations
  • The candidates should be able to prepare reports
