Escarpment Property Maintenance based in Meaford, ON is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Worker, landscape. Escarpment Property Maintenance specializes in providing comprehensive property care services for residential and commercial clients in the scenic region of the escarpment. Salary: $18.00 to $22.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 30 to 45 hours per week
Employment Type: Seasonal employment Full time – Remote work available
Location: Meaford, ON
Shifts: Day
Work setting: urban area, rural area, various locations, landscape maintenance, on-site customer service

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidate should work outdoors

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidate should be able to assist with landscape constructions and tie and secure plants
  • The candidate should be able to weed, prune, and trim trees and plants, as well as cut grass and rake and collect refuse
  • The candidate should be able to remove litter and garbage, cart and spread topsoil and other materials, and lay sod or seed
  • The candidate should be able to plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees, and repair and maintain equipment
  • The candidate should be able to water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens, and operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment
  • The candidate should be able to assist with tree removal
