Work setting: Department store, Urban area, In shop, On-site customer service, and Supermarket/grocery store
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Area of specialization: Food and food products
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should thrive in a fast-paced environment and be able to work overtime when required, capable of tasks involving bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods
- The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads and weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs), demonstrating physical capability for performing demanding and repetitive tasks
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate adaptability, analytical skills, and creativity, collaborate effectively with others, and be goal-oriented
- The candidates should be hardworking, energetic, maintain a positive attitude, exhibit integrity, be outgoing, proactive, and possess excellent oral communication skills
- The candidates should be quick learners, manage their time efficiently, possess dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, and organizational abilities, and be reliable team players
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to operate a cash register, conduct sales transactions through Internet-based electronic commerce, and accept various forms of payment
- The candidates should be able to operate computerized inventory record-keeping and re-ordering systems, maintain sales records for inventory control, and prepare merchandise for purchase, rental, or lease
- The candidates should be able to provide advice about merchandise, assist in the display of merchandise, greet customers and discuss the type, quality, and quantity of merchandise or services sought for purchase, rental, or lease, and prepare sales, rental, or leasing contracts
