Shifts: Evening, Weekend, Shift, Morning
Work setting: In shop, remote location, clothing store, retail business, and hobby/crafts/novelty store
Type of product: Art or graphic arts

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Art or fashion design experience: Jewellery, Women’s clothing, Children’s clothing, and Men’s clothing

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be attentive to detail
  • The candidates should be capable of handling a combination of sitting, standing, and walking

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should be efficient, energetic, goal-oriented, hardworking, outgoing, and possess a positive attitude
  • The candidates should possess strong time management skills, demonstrate dependability, and have efficient interpersonal skills
  • The candidates should be flexible, organized, and exhibit reliability, as well as being team players and having excellent oral communication skills
  • The candidates should be accurate and have a client focus

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to operate a cash register and computerized inventory record-keeping and re-ordering systems
  • The candidates should be able to provide advice about merchandise, assist in the display of merchandise, and greet customers to discuss the type, quality, and quantity of merchandise or services sought for purchase, rental, or lease
  • The candidates should be able to maintain sales records for inventory control, prepare merchandise for purchase, rental, or lease, sell merchandise, and organize and maintain inventory
