Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English or French Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be attentive to detail and capable of handling repetitive tasks
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be adaptable and possess a positive attitude
- The candidates should demonstrate dependability and exhibit flexibility
- The candidates should be organized and possess reliability
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to operate a cash register, supervise staff (apprentices, stage hands, design team, etc.), and teach interest or professional development courses
- The candidates should be able to plan and develop permanent and temporary or movable exhibits and displays for museum exhibitions, trade shows, conventions, retail spaces, and other exhibitions, operate computerized inventory record-keeping and re-ordering systems, and provide advice about merchandise
- The candidates should be able to provide customer service, assist in the display of merchandise, conduct sales transactions through Internet-based electronic commerce, greet customers, and discuss the type, quality, and quantity of merchandise or services sought for purchase, rental, or lease, and prepare sales, rental, or leasing contracts and accept cash, cheque, credit card, or automatic debit payment
