Salary: $20.50 to $22.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 30 to 44 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: 2545 Baseline Road Ottawa, ON K2H 7B3 & Nepean, ON K2J 5L4
Shifts: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, Early Morning, Morning
Work setting: Coffee shop
Supervision: 1 to 2 people, 3-4 people, and 5-10 people
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be adaptable to a fast-paced work environment
- The candidates should be able to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- The candidates should be comfortable standing for extended periods and walking
- The candidates should demonstrate a high level of attention to detail
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should prioritize client focus in their interactions
- The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills
- The candidates should demonstrate excellent oral communication
- The candidates should exhibit flexibility in their approach to tasks
- The candidates should be effective team players
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to establish methods to meet work schedules and supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
- The candidates should be able to train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, estimate and order ingredients and supplies, and ensure food service and quality control
- The candidates should be able to prepare a budget and cost estimates, address customers’ complaints or concerns, and prepare and submit reports
- The candidates should be able to prepare food order summaries for the chef, supervise and check the assembly of trays, check the delivery of food trolleys, and establish work schedules
