Shifts: Day, Overtime, Flexible Hours
Work setting: In shop and Relocation costs covered by employer

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as other trades certificate or diploma or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience 5 years or more
Type of industry experience: Aircraft manufacturing, Military aviation, Repair and overhaul facility
Credentials: Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s Licence (AME) – E, Avionics Systems Endorsements, and CAMC Aircraft Maintenance Technician Certification
Security and safety: Criminal record check and Enhanced reliability security clearance

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be comfortable working outdoors, at heights, and in confined spaces, capable of handling noisy environments and heavy loads
  • The candidates should demonstrate attention to detail, good hand-eye coordination, and be comfortable standing for extended periods, as well as with tasks involving bending, crouching, and kneeling

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should exhibit efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, initiative, sound judgment, reliability, and strong team player abilities

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to ensure that the installation, maintenance, repair, and overhaul of systems meet Transport Canada and company standards of performance and safety
  • The candidates should be able to inspect and test aircraft instrument, electrical, and avionics systems
  • The candidates should be able to repair and overhaul, install, calibrate, and test aircraft instruments
  • The candidates should be able to repair and overhaul, modify, install, and test aircraft electrical systems and equipment
  • The candidates should be able to test electrical, electronic, and instrument components
  • The candidates should be able to troubleshoot, repair, and overhaul, test, modify, install, and inspect aircraft electronic systems and components, including communications, navigation, and auto flight equipment
  • The candidates should be able to troubleshoot, repair, install, and inspect aircraft systems and components
