Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment while handling heavy loads of up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
- The candidates should be physically capable of meeting the demands of the job, including bending, crouching, and kneeling
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should focus on clients, be organized, and be reliable
- The candidates should be team players
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to bag, box, or parcel purchases for customers, for shipment, or delivery, carry customers’ purchases to the parking lot and pack orders in customers’ vehicles, and obtain articles for customers from the shelf or stockroom
- The candidates should be able to direct customers to the location of articles sought, unpack products received by the store and count, weigh, or sort items, and maintain computerized stock inventory
- The candidates should be able to order stock, record incoming stock, and stock shelves and display areas
- The candidates should be able to keep stock clean and in order, price items using stamps or stickers according to the price list, and attach protective devices to products to protect against shoplifting
- The candidates should be able to fill mail or electronic orders from warehouse stock, perform general cleaning duties (i.e., sweeping, mopping floors), and process electronic transactions using computer equipment
- The candidates should be able to operate a cash register, perform order picking, and provide customer service
