Bulk Barn Foods Limited is a Canadian bulk foods store founded in September 1982 by Carl O’Field. We sells common to somewhat specialty foods, such as those that are vegan and non genetically modified. We are experienced and well-known to the community. We participated in fundraising for Alzheimer’s Canada. We are known to provide satisfaction to our customers, that they don’t have to go to any one else after getting the best services from us. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Shifts: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, On Call, Early Morning and Morning
Work setting: Urban area, retail business and supermarket/grocery store
Transportation/travel information: Own transportation required
Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates need experience of 3 years to less than 2 years
Computer and technology knowledge: Candidates must have knowledge of MS Excel, Electronic cash register, Point of sale system, Interac machine, Electronic scheduler, Word processing software, Electronic mail and Spreadsheet
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to work in fast-paced environment, work under pressure, maintain tight deadlines, handle heavy loads, pay attention to detail, sit and also stand for extended periods
- The candidate should be a combination of sitting, standing, walking
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to work with being focused on the client, in a flexible environment and also in an organized way
- The candidate should be adaptable, analytical, collaborative, efficienct, energetic, goal-oriented, hardworking, proactive, quick learner, someone who can judge and also a team player
- The candidate should have integrity, positive attitude, knowledge of time management, accuracy, efficient interpersonal skills, an excellent oral and written communication and also interpersonal awareness
- The candidate should have working experience of cleaning
- The candidate should have experience of policy and program like employee recognition
- The candidate should have specialization on operations management
- The candidate should be able to supervise 11-15 people and staff in various areas of responsibility
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to manage staff and assign duties, determine staffing requirements, recruit, hire and supervise staff and/or volunteers, train, direct and motivate staff, train staff, supervise staff and also schedule staff
- The candidate should be able to order merchandise and also sell merchandise
- The candidate should be able to resolve problems that arise, such as customer complaints and supply shortages, plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations, stock shelves and display areas, perform administrative tasks, coach colleagues on new methods or work techniques, food safety/handling skills, professionalism in customer service, arrange product according to planogram, greet customers, handle cash transactions, organize and maintain inventory and also complete report sheets
- The candidate should be able to plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses, operate cash register, balance and deposit cash and also handle cash transactions
- The candidate should be able to sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand, clean work area and also sweep, mop, wash and polish floors
