Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have bachelor’s or master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have 8+ years of experience as a software/application developer (back-end, microservices), Quality Assurance QA, QAA test automation developer or similar role in development

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should be equipped with an engineering background and solid experience as a technical lead, system architect, or technical project/program manager
  • The candidates should possess knowledge of distributed software systems and complex multi-tiered architectures with various types of integration and messaging between applications
  • The candidates should demonstrate the ability to test and comprehend workflows in complex architectures, including heavily integrated systems with multiple databases, message queueing systems, and the use of distributed and local caching
  • The candidates should have strong programming, scripting, testing, and debugging skills
  • The candidates should ideally have experience in the Telecom domain
  • The candidates should have an excellent understanding of cloud-native test strategy and how staging operations contribute to fast feedback
  • The candidates should demonstrate an excellent understanding of testing methodologies
  • The candidates should exhibit solid critical thinking and investigation capabilities
  • The candidates should possess excellent communication skills, whether at the executive level or when discussing technical trade-offs in product development with engineers
  • The candidates should have the ability to mentor, challenge, and develop individuals, teams, and organizations
  • The candidates should have demonstrated ability in handling complex product development programs throughout their complete lifecycle, which is highly desirable
  • The candidates should lead by example and set appropriate standards of behavior through principled integrity, clarity, listening, and the ability to empower and encourage people with empathy and humanness
  • The candidates should thrive on accountability, overcoming challenges with a can-do attitude

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to technically manage, coordinate, and synchronize the sub-project managers in diverse sub-projects
  • The candidates should be able to work closely with the Test Architect and execution teams to plan deliveries and drive Product validation scope
  • The candidates should be able to manage overall collaboration with stakeholders such as architecture and development teams, customer units, and Operation & Support team
  • The candidates should be able to manage release projects execution, including supervision and reporting, conflict and critical issue resolution, change management, risk management, and dependency management
  • The candidates should be able to secure and maintain communication within the matrix organization, including reporting progress, status, and follow-up of activities and results
  • The candidates should be able to report progress using Program tools (e.g., JIRA, Burndown, Bug Tracker, Requirement Planner, etc.)
  • The candidates should be able to ensure delivery on commitments, with quality, on time, and take corrective action if off track
  • The candidates should be able to facilitate release planning with the teams, ensuring high-quality inputs and outputs and communicate expectations to teams in advance
  • The candidates should be able to conduct Risk Management sessions with the teams and maintain a risk register on actions taken to continuously manage risks
  • The candidates should be able to support the teams with the removal of external impediments that cannot be resolved by the team
  • The candidates should be able to facilitate scheduling, planning, and dependency management
  • The candidates should be able to drive Operational Excellence, ensuring optimal utilization of team capacity and application of standard methodologies that support
