Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a strong attention to detail
- The candidates should be adaptable to a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and be comfortable standing for extended periods
- The candidates should be proficient in bending, crouching, and kneeling
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should excel in oral communication and demonstrate flexibility and collaboration as team players in their work
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to operate a cash register, process money, cheques, and credit/debit card payments, and scan items
- The candidates should be able to tabulate the total payment for goods or services, receive payment, and engage in suggestive selling
- The candidates should be able to calculate daily/shift payments received, reconcile with total sales, and calculate foreign currency exchange
- The candidates should be able to stock shelves, clean the counter area, greet customers, wrap or place merchandise in bags, provide customer service, and monitor all entrances and exits, requesting proof of payment when necessary
