  • The candidates should have 4+ years of experience with cloud and hybrid, or on-premises infrastructures, architecture designs, migrations, industry standards, and/or technology management
  • The candidates should have an expert-level understanding of NoSQL databases and practical hands-on implementation experience
  • The candidates should hold Azure Certifications such as Azure Data Engineer Associate (DP 203), Enterprise Data Analyst Associate (DP 500), or Azure Cosmos DB Developer Specialty (DP 420) or equivalent industry certifications
  • The candidates should possess knowledge of Data and Analytics platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, MongoDB, MongoDB Atlas, Cassandra, Datastax, AWS Dynamo DB, Neo4J, StarDog, AWS (Redshift), GCP BigQuery, Teradata, Netezza, Exadata, Apache Spark, Tableau, Qlik and Looker including financial performance, key messaging and roadmap
  • The candidates should have experience leveraging partner solutions to solve customer needs and scale opportunities
  • The candidates should exhibit experience in developing highly optimized application code for NoSQL solutions and working knowledge with C#, Java, NodeJS, Python languages for NoSQL implementation, NoSQL and Analytics Proof of Concepts (PoC)/Pilots for customers that lead to production deployments
  • The candidates should show deep domain knowledge in NoSQL & Analytics Platforms such as Azure Synapse, Azure Data Explorer, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Power BI, and hands-on experience working with the respective products at the expert level
  • The candidates should have 3+ years of hands-on programming experience with languages such as Scala, Python and SQL
  • The candidates should have a proven track record of building deep technical relationships with senior executives and experience in managing various stakeholder relationships to get consensus on solution/projects. They should also possess the ability to influence and build relationships across technical and business teams

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to lead technical discussions with customers, leveraging processes, tools, demos, and programs. They should use consultative sales methodology and technical expertise to understand customer needs and demonstrate how Microsoft solutions can address them. They should also establish rules of engagement for extended teams role boundaries and handoff strategies
  • The candidates should be able to build a technical strategy by mapping the agreed customer vision into a strategy, resolving concerns, preventing and removing technical blockers, and validating a business case for investment. They should work with the customer, account team, and partners to orchestrate a roadmap for implementation using the Microsoft Analytics Governance (MAG) framework. They should also educate customers on the NoSQL value proposition, particularly on Azure Cosmos DB
  • The candidates should be able to drive technical assessments to create a map of the current landscape and build technical migration and modernization plans, thus creating a solid business case
  • The candidates should be able to design the solution using their technical knowledge, architectural approach, consultancy skills, and methodology to win a customer’s technical decision and meet the customer’s needs. They should ensure technical decision-makers agree with the proposed architecture and drive POCs/pilots to create momentum for MVPs, infusing key AI technologies
  • The candidates should be able to identify new opportunities within customer engagement and act as a trusted advisor to find and understand customers’ pain points. They should design and offer solutions (with business cases) to technical leaders
  • The candidates should be able to serve as the voice of the customer to share insights and best practices with Engineering, remove key blockers, and drive product improvements
  • The candidates should be able to maintain and grow expertise in Data Modernization, Analytics and Data Warehousing scenarios, and AI technologies while keeping up to date with market trends and competitive insights. They should collaborate and share with the Data and AI technical community
  • The candidates should be able to scale through partners, acting as a liaison between the partner and account team, and facilitating partner resources and processes. They should support partner technical capacity by identifying skill and resource gaps and providing feedback to internal teams
  • The candidates should be able to develop a customer technical skilling plan in collaboration with the customer and account team
