Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Own tools/equipment: Hard hat and Steel-toed safety boots
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should have strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all tasks while managing a large workload effectively
- The candidates should be willing to work overtime as required and handle physically demanding tasks
- The candidates should be comfortable performing repetitive tasks and engage in sitting for extended periods as needed

Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to drive as part of a two-person team or convoy and operate straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
- The candidates should be able to obtain special permits and other documents required for transporting cargo on international routes while ensuring compliance with regulations
- The candidates should be able to oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment, as well as performing brake adjustments and emergency roadside repairs
- The candidates should be able to perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, overseeing all aspects of the vehicle’s operation
- The candidates should be able to receive and relay information to central dispatch and record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
- The candidates should be able to tarp and ensure the safety and security of cargo, as well as transport and handle dangerous goods
