Salary: $25.00 to $34.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 35 to 85 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time

Shifts: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Overtime, On Call, Flexible Hours, To be determined, Early Morning, Morning
Transportation information: Valid driver’s licence
Type of crops: Grains and Canola

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Equipment and machinery experience: Farm Truck, Forklift, Loader, Tractor, Combine Harvester, Planting Equipment, Seed Drill, Sprayer Or Duster, Swather, Welding, Skidsteer, and Hand Tools
Own tools/equipment: Gloves and Steel-toed safety boots
Credentials: Air Brake (Z) Endorsement

Physical Requirements:

The candidates should be able to work independently, work in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure, and handle heavy loads
The candidates should be able to meet tight deadlines, handle physically demanding tasks, and have attention to detail
The candidates should be able to bend, crouch, kneel, manage a large workload, work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Other Requirements:

The candidates should have efficient interpersonal skills, be flexible, and exercise good judgment
The candidates should be organized, reliable, team players, uphold values and ethics, and be quick learners

Responsibilities:

The candidates should be able to apply fertilizers, clean the work area, fertilize and spray crops, and harvest crops
The candidates should be able to operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
