Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Animal specialization: Domestic animals/pets (cats, kittens, puppies, dogs, etc.), Hamsters, guinea pigs, gerbils, etc
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate attention to detail in their work and be physically capable of performing demanding tasks, including handling heavy loads as required
- The candidates should be able to bend, crouch, and kneel as needed, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods as necessary and handle weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs) as needed
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should prioritize client focus in their interactions and demonstrate dependability in fulfilling their responsibilities
- The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills for effective communication, exhibit excellent oral and written communication skills, and demonstrate flexibility in adapting to changing circumstances
- The candidates should exercise good judgment in decision-making situations and be reliable in completing tasks and meeting commitments
- The candidates should be effective team players, collaborating well with colleagues
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to prepare food and feed animals, clean and disinfect cages, pens, aquariums, kennels, runs, stalls, and enclosures, and keep records of animals treated
- The candidates should be able to assist with inoculation and treatment of animals, supervise helpers, and monitor and document animal behavior
