Work setting: Employer’s home, Urban area, Work in employer’s/client’s home
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Area of specialization: Supervise and care for multi-aged group of children, Children
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be non-smoking and capable of handling weights of up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents effectively, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties diligently, and bathe, dress, and feed infants and children appropriately
- The candidates should be able to discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents consistently, instruct children in personal hygiene and social development comprehensively, and maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home consistently
- The candidates should be able to organize activities such as games and outings for children enthusiastically, prepare and serve nutritious meals to children skillfully, and prepare infants and children for rest periods effectively
- The candidates should be able to sterilize bottles, prepare formulas, and change diapers for infants proficiently, supervise and care for children attentively, and tend to the emotional well-being of children compassionately
