Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Asset languages: Mandarin, Japanese and Korean
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as College, CEGEP or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Computer and technology knowledge: Word processing software, Accounting software, Spreadsheet, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, Internet, and MS Windows
Bookkeeping and accounting: Manual

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work under pressure

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have the ability to multitask effectively
  • The candidates should be organized in their approach to work
  • The candidates should exhibit reliability in fulfilling responsibilities

Candidate Status:

  • Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
  • International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to prepare the general ledger, manage accounts receivable and accounts payable, and prepare payroll
  • The candidates should be able to invoice clients, conduct credit and collections, and perform costing and budgeting
  • The candidates should be able to prepare income tax, perform foreign currency exchange, and store, update, and retrieve financial data
  • The candidates should be able to perform clerical duties, such as maintaining filing and record systems, general office duties, and organizing and maintaining inventory
  • The candidates should be able to prepare financial statements and reports, as well as other general reports
