Shifts: Day, Flexible Hours, Morning
Transportation information: Public transportation is available
Work setting: Employer’s home and work in employer’s/client’s home

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should handle repetitive tasks

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should be organized and demonstrate reliability

Candidate Status:

  • Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
  • International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents, performing light housekeeping and cleaning duties, and maintaining a safe and healthy environment in the home
  • The candidates should be able to wash, iron, and press clothing and household linens, bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, and prepare infants and children for rest periods
  • The candidates should be able to discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, and tend to the emotional well-being of children while supervising and caring for them
  • The candidates should be able to organize activities such as games and outings for children, prepare and serve nutritious meals, and help children with homework as needed
