Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have successful completion of a certificate in Office Administration
Experience: Candidates should have two years of related experience

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should provide a satisfactory vulnerable sector check and failure to provide a satisfactory check may deem you disqualified from the competition

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should clearly identify their eligibility in order to receive priority consideration under the Affirmative Action Policy
  • The candidates should know that equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to provide expertise in customer service and client registration
  • The candidates should be able to maintain the integrity of data in electronic patient information systems, meet and greet the public, and be the first point of contact for clients entering the Fort Smith Health and Social Services Health Center
  • The candidates should be able to provide administrative and receptionist services for and assist with the activities of other health programs to ensure safe, confidential, and professional clinical services
  • The candidates should be able to work within the context of the vision and principles of the Northwest Territories Health and Social Services Authority (NTHSSA) and in accordance with policies and procedures

Benefits:

  • The candidates will get an annual Northern Allowance of $6,903
