Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or Intermediate or a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have 3-5 years retail experience required

  • The candidates should have a proven ability to coach, mentor, and develop department team and store team, through setting expectations, communication, coaching, feedback, and ongoing support
  • The candidates should demonstrate a proven ability to build and manage a daily, weekly plan for the department and store
  • The candidates should possess exceptional communication skills and organizational skills
  • The candidates should exhibit superior training and mentoring skills

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to provide leadership to the team, consistently coaching them to ensure delivery of service model standards to each customer
  • The candidates should be able to lead the B2B Mark’s Commercial Business function, including order entry and management, and coach the team to ensure accurate and timely ordering and delivery to customers
  • The candidates should be able to provide exceptional omni-channel experience by offering in-store eCommerce sales and fulfilling eCommerce orders within defined service levels
  • The candidates should be able to support the customer experience through timely processing and movement of inventory to the salesfloor
  • The candidates should be able to implement, communicate, and ensure compliance with all operating procedures, processes, and policies
  • The candidates should be able to manage scheduling and follow up on execution in shipping/receiving, eCommerce fulfillment operations, cash management, and operations systems & compliance
  • The candidates should be able to assist in the preparation and execution of annual inventories
  • The candidates should be able to follow and ensure compliance with all corporate LP, cash and audit, and OH&S policies and procedures
  • The candidates should be able to assume responsibility for all operations of the store in the absence of the Store Manager
  • The candidates should be able to create and communicate the execution of the Daily Game Plan for operations activities
  • The candidates should be able to communicate in a clear and concise manner to the team, leading effective Shift Starter meetings/coaching sessions
  • The candidates should be able to follow up with the team to ensure completion of required training within specified timeframes
  • The candidates should be able to act as a brand ambassador by promoting brands and culture
  • The candidates should be able to continually motivate the team and performance through recognition programs, store contests, customer compliments, etc.
  • The candidates should be able to maintain Mark’s performance management expectations, including progressive discipline where necessary
  • The candidates should be able to follow the disciplinary process consistently and impartially
  • The candidates should be able to promote and maintain a positive and motivating work environment that is safe, inclusive, and empowering
