Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Credentials: Certificates, licenses, memberships, and courses

Physical Requirements:

• The candidate should stand for extended periods

Other Requirements:

• The candidate should have client focus
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills
• The candidate should have excellent oral communication
• The candidate should be reliable

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to ensure they are of legal age to mix and serve alcoholic beverages
• The candidates should be able to address customers’ complaints or concerns
• The candidates should be able to present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travellers cheques, or room billings
• The candidates should be able to describe menu items, including daily specials, for customers
• The candidates should be able to enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations
• The candidates should be able to clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs
• The candidates should be able to serve food and beverages
• The candidates should be able to provide customer service
