Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Computer and technology knowledge: Word processing software, Internet and Database software

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be accustomed to working in a fast-paced environment
  • The candidates should be able to work efficiently under pressure
  • The candidates should be comfortable standing for extended periods
  • The candidates should possess a high level of attention to detail

Other Requirements:

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to organize and set up the bar, clean the bar area, and wash glassware
  • The candidates should be able to serve food or snacks, advise on wine selection, and inform customers regarding the contents of cocktails or other drinks
  • The candidates should be able to collect cash, credit/debit cards, or other payment for beverages, operate the cash register, and order bar stock while maintaining inventory and control
  • The candidates should be able to enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations, prepare mixed drinks, wine, draft or bottled beer, and non-alcoholic beverages, and provide customer service
