Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education:Â Candidates should have University graduation (Master’s level) in Business Administration, Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Computer Science or related discipline
Experience: Candidates should have minimum of four (4) years’ directly related working experience
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should possess extensive knowledge of work methods, analytics such as simulation, modeling, data mining techniques such as clustering, neural network, operations research, and statistical techniques as related to the work assigned
- The candidates should have extensive knowledge and experience with relational databases, SQL, and scripting languages and have extensive experience utilizing and building Tableau dashboards
- The candidates should demonstrate the ability to carry out research, audits, and prepare advanced analytical reports and should be proficient in Google suite of applications, MS Excel, statistical software like SPSS and R, and data mining or optimization software like KNIME, AMPL, or Matlab
- The candidates should possess knowledge of insurance and civic policies, regulations, and operations and should have project management skills
- The candidates should demonstrate the ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions of an advanced nature and have the ability to prepare and present technical briefs and reports to multi-disciplinary teams including leadership
- The candidates should be able to establish and maintain effective relationships as necessitated by work assignments and have strong organizational and decision-making skills

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to devise technical methods for collecting and analyzing background material and data on technical operations, fiscal or economic developments to assist business areas with risk identification, assessments, quantification, and mitigation measures
- The candidates should be able to provide data and analytical support for various activities associated with the city’s operations and make recommendations relating to the current initiatives and predictions based on data analysis and modeling
- The candidates should be able to work collaboratively with other analysts to conduct analysis and compose in-depth analytical reports for key projects
- The candidates should be able to perform assessment of Section performance metrics, provide input on efficiencies, workflow, and quality assurance
- The candidates should be able to lead or support corporate and section projects to optimize performance and/or establish new policies and procedures
- The candidates should be able to determine research base, collect, validate and verify the data, and prepare relevant reports and presentations showing the past, current, and future trends
- The candidates should be able to develop and use technology such as claims & financial management systems and Tableau dashboards to assist in analysis, reporting, and optimization of claims trends, data, and forecasting
- The candidates should be able to consult or liaise with departmental and civic officials on a regular basis in performing corporate-wide analysis, policy & strategy development, and managing associated projects
- The candidates should be able to assist in the interpretation and effect of government, civic, departmental, and other regulations and restrictions on policies and procedures
