Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or Intermediate or a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have extensive experience with IT delivery, cybersecurity principles and integrating cloud-based solutions into existing environments

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have extensive Sr. Technical Product Owner or Sr. Business Solution Architect experience of enterprise-wide deliveries with a customer-first approach
  • The candidates should have experience in hands-on Agile delivery, with successful large-scale rollouts of Microsoft SaaS solutions, including data ingestion, role-based permissions, security, and integrations
  • The candidates should possess extensive experience designing and implementing configurations, customizations, and integrations to meet business needs and improve operational efficiency in multiple SaaS solutions (M365)
  • The candidates should have experience implementing multiple SaaS solutions, with M365 being an asset and should prioritize Customer Experience and Usability at the center of all solutions
  • The candidates should demonstrate exceptional change management skills, to create concise and clear user guides, iterated based on feedback loops
  • The candidates should show commitment to business requirement/backlog upkeep and grooming, and be able to gain alignment on priorities based on proposed options and dependencies
  • The candidates should have Certification in tools such as ServiceNow and Microsoft 365 would be advantageous and Agile certifications

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to leverage knowledge of business systems technologies to provide leadership in the identification and evaluation of technology options for business areas and able to evaluate business and technical design alternatives and propose cost-effective solutions that improve program/service delivery
  • The candidates should be able to apply analytical and problem-solving skills to assess business priorities and needs of business areas, analyze and troubleshoot complex issues within applications, and provide recommendations for long-term improvements
  • The candidates should be able to establish use cases and traceability matrices based on requirements and build metrics and reporting in support of current mode of operations (CMO) and future mode of operations (FMO) key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • The candidates should be able to act as the bridge between the Technology Servies Division (TSD) and Customers, lead client meetings and workshops as required to ensure technology solutions are meeting requirements, and lead discussions with the development team and other delivery partners to translate business requirements into system requirements
  • The candidates should be able to discuss development and operational recommendations in clear non-technical terms and create project reports, presentations, business cases, and systems documentation as required
  • The candidates should be able to provide input into RFC/RFI/RFP and negotiation of contracts, deliver presentations to development teams and client audiences as required, and develop and maintain documentation for configurations, processes, and procedures to support knowledge sharing and training initiatives
  • The candidates should be able to quickly gain knowledge in new areas and become a productive contributor, develop ongoing positive working relationships within Technology Services, as well as with client and partner Divisions, and foster collaboration and service excellence in cross-functional teams
  • The candidates should be able to act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership across the organization, build collaborative relationships with City stakeholders and senior management, and assist them in recognizing where Technology Services can add value to, transform or support program operations
  • The candidates should be able to foster and manage external partner relationships and manage large, complex contracts to deliver transformation programs and value for the City investments, cultivate a sense of unity where each member understands their purpose and impact with a focus on excellent customer service and experience, and build high performance and resiliency through trust, transparency, and respect
  • The candidates should be able to encourage creativity and innovation by welcoming diverse perspectives, promoting healthy debate, and questioning the status quo, and respect others’ ideas and create a sense of independence and ownership
