Salary: $18.00 to $20.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 38 to 40 hours per week

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience:  Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing tasks efficiently while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
  • The candidates should demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, ensuring precision and quality even in demanding situations
  • The candidates should be comfortable standing for extended periods during work hours, maintaining focus and productivity

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to operate a cash register accurately and efficiently
  • The candidates should be able to scan items quickly and accurately during checkout
  • The candidates should be able to receive payment for goods or services promptly and process transactions securely
  • The candidates should be able to stock shelves and maintain a clean counter area to ensure a pleasant shopping environment
  • The candidates should be able to greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries or needs
  • The candidates should be able to wrap or place merchandise in bags carefully to prevent damage during transportation
  • The candidates should be able to weigh produce and bulk foods accurately and price them accordingly
  • The candidates should be able to provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • The candidates should be able to calculate foreign currency exchange rates accurately for international transactions
  • The candidates should be able to verify the age of customers when selling lottery tickets, alcohol, or tobacco products to comply with legal regulations
