Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be proficient in preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring quality and taste
  • The candidates should accommodate customers with food allergies or intolerances by preparing dishes tailored to their dietary needs
  • The candidates should undertake menu planning, portion sizing, food cost estimation, and supply monitoring to ensure efficient kitchen operations
  • The candidates should inspect kitchens and food service areas to uphold hygiene and safety standards
  • The candidates should provide training to kitchen staff on food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling procedures
  • The candidates should manage inventory, order supplies and equipment, and maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment
  • The candidates should oversee the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and work areas to ensure compliance with sanitation standards
  • The candidates should take charge of recruiting and hiring kitchen staff, ensuring a skilled and efficient team
  • The candidates should effectively manage kitchen operations, coordinating tasks, and ensuring smooth workflow to meet service demands
