Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have Completion of College or University in a Design Discipline; design background in Product, Fashion, Home/Interiors and/ or Industrial Design
Experience: Candidates should have 1-3 years experience in a similar Product Coordinator role or Project Management role

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidate should be able to attend our Retail City office at least 3 days per week

Other Requirements:

  • The candidate should be a Christmas expert and enthusiast, showcasing a passion for the holiday season
  • The candidate should provide a design portfolio for consideration, including a link along with their resume
  • The candidate should be proficient in design software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and 3-D rendering programs
  • The candidate should demonstrate competence in Excel and PowerPoint for various tasks related to the role
  • The candidate should have experience with PLM (Product Lifecycle Management)
  • The candidate should be highly organized, meticulous, and able to effectively manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously
  • The candidate should have the ability to work both collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders and independently when required

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to support the Christmas Product Development Manager in bringing Christmas products to market as part of the Product Development (Home & Style) team’s mandate
  • The candidates should be able to contribute to improving the design and experience associated with CTR’s Retail Brands, helping build the equity of these brands
  • The candidates should be able to contribute to delivering a consistent, authentic, and customer-driven product experience through our retail brands
  • The candidate should be able to support the team in developing Christmas products throughout the year across all development stages
  • The candidate should be able to assist the product development team with core operational tasks, including managing the product lifecycle through the PLM system, from initial setup to maintaining updates throughout the entire development process
  • The candidate should be able to manage the receipt and tracking of product and packaging samples, coordinating and tracking shipments to vendors, cross-functional teams, and third-party suppliers
  • The candidate should be able to provide support in gathering business and industry data, participate in assortment analysis, and conduct trend and product research
  • The candidate should be able to maintain product development templates and trackers across all categories, including product lineboards, sample/development excel trackers, quality control tracking, tech-pack templates, milestone documents, etc.
  • The candidate should be able to offer support as required on product specifications, CAD/design (i.e., 3-D renderings), design boards, spec packages, tech-packs, recolours, etc.
  • The candidate should be able to collaborate on direction for photo-shoots, packaging execution, marketing materials, etc., as required, and work with cross-functional teams to contribute to the consistent representation of the brand in all customer-facing vehicles
  • The candidate should be able to actively support and promote the initiatives of the Product Development team
