Service Ontario Centre based in Woodstock, ON is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the Customer service clerk. Service Ontario Centre is a government facility committed to providing a wide array of public services to residents and businesses in the province. As part of the Service Ontario network, these centers offer various services, including driver’s license and vehicle registration, health card issuance, birth and marriage certificates, business registrations, and other essential government-related transactions. The candidates selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Salary: $17.00 hourly for 15 to 30 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Woodstock, ON
Shifts: Day, Weekend

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Security and safety: Basic security clearance, bondable, credit check, and criminal record check

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should possess attention to detail for repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment, including standing for extended periods and working under pressure

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to access and process information, addressing customers’ complaints or concerns
    The candidates should be able to answer inquiries and provide information to customers, explaining the type and cost of services offered
    The candidates should be able to issue receipts and other forms, perform general office duties, and receive payments, showcasing a combination of information processing and customer service skills
