Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of a High School Diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience working in heavy industrial and construction environments
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should have the ability to meet scheduled deadlines and willing to travel sometimes for extended periods
- The candidates should have the ability to optimize onsite resources (manpower, equipment, and materials) to ensure efficient and timely completion of work
- The candidates should be comfortable working at heights and maintain an orderly, clean, and safe worksite
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have GED, or similar equivalent education and experience with welding, specifically TIG welding sanitary piping or stainless steel, or performing orbital welding
- The candidates should have experience with forklifts, aerial lifts, and other heavy equipment
- The candidates should have verifiable experience managing on-site project activities, scheduling, and reporting, which is a plus
- The candidates should have OSHA 10/30, Welding Certifications, Aerial Lift License, Forklift License, and First Aid/AED licenses
- The candidates should possess a strong mechanical aptitude and follow DOT regulations applicable to AGI and committed to safety and environmental practices
- The candidates should have strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with employees and clients professionally
- The candidates should be able to demonstrate good organizational skills, follow policies, procedures, and work practices, and develop improvements
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to ensure compliance by the workforce or subcontractor with all installation standards, procedures, and contractual commitments, adhering to all applicable policies
- The candidates should be able to supervise work performed on systems ranging from basic conveyor systems to complex industrial production systems
- The candidates should be able to assemble machinery and equipment before installation using hand and power tools
- The candidates should be able to adjust, repair, or replace defective parts on machinery relevant to the job scope
- The candidates should be able to install, align, dismantle, rig, and move industrial control systems and and support a positive environment of teamwork and support
- The candidates should be able to conduct daily job hazard analysis with the job site Foreman for each job, ensuring all customer-required permits are complete before starting any work
- The candidates should be able to provide expert guidance to installation teams to ensure AGI equipment installation requirements are met, including the installation of secondary components such as compressed air, hydraulics, instrumentation, and electrical connections
- The candidates should be able to perform and support the completion of AGI equipment checklist inspections
- The candidates should be able to coordinate, collaborate, and report daily with AGI team members, including Foreman, Superintendents, Engineers, and Project Managers
- The candidates should be able to review and assist in the mechanical and electrical setup of compressed air regulator pressures, blowers, valves, airlocks and screws
