Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of High School Diploma
Experience: Candidates should have 6 months experience or an internship in inventory management, retail and warehouse management
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have the ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements
- The candidates should be able to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter
- The candidates should be able to obtain Reliability Status screening from a duly authorized department or agency of the Government of Canada, which includes verification of identity, background, education, professional credentials, personal and professional references, credit check, and criminal background check
- The candidates may also need to complete a security questionnaire and security interview as part of the Reliability Status screening process
- The candidates should have at least 1 year of experience in warehouse, supply chain in an information technology (IT) environment, IT, and/or logistics, including operating heavy-load movement equipment forklift, pallet jacks, chassis lifts for a large corporation, or equivalent experience
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to perform assigned tasks and escalate issues during high-volume work activity or escalation-based situations under the guidance of more experienced Data Center colleagues
- The candidates should be able to coordinate with suppliers to initiate warranty claims and process failed vendor hardware devices, including information processing, packaging, shipment, and receipt of return for Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) devices, following all Service Level Agreements (SLAs) related to the RMA warranty process
- The candidates should be able to develop a working knowledge of stock control and inventory management practices and procedures and ensure accurate documentation of incoming and outgoing deliveries as well as records
- The candidates should be able to become familiar with guidelines set by Microsoft contractual agreements with suppliers and maintain an effective customer focus and perform cycle audits and data corrections to ensure all inventory controls are met
- The candidates should be able to help reconcile and report inventory discrepancies and ensure detailed physical inventory tracking and staging
- The candidates should be able to, under the supervision of more experienced Data Center colleagues, perform the destruction of data-bearing devices (DBD) following all Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Microsoft policies
- The candidates should be able to comply with all security and data management policies and embody our culture and values
