Nature Fresh Farms Inc. based in Leamington, ON is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of General labourer – farm. Nature Fresh Farms Inc. started in 1999 with a greenhouse construction project led by a mechanical engineer named Peter Quiring. We have grown to become one of the largest independent greenhouse produce growers in Canada. Our business is a people business. We employ hundreds of Guest Workers from around the world through the Canadian government’s Temporary Foreign Worker (TFW) Program. We are known to provide satisfaction to our customers, that they don’t have to go to any one else after getting the best services from us. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Salary: $15.50 hourly for 40 to 60 hours per week
Employment Type: Full time
Location: Leamington, ON
Shifts: Weekend, Overtime, Early Morning and Morning
Work setting: Rural area and various locations
Work site environment: Candidates should work at heights, wet/damp, hot and cold/refrigerated place
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications such as a high school, bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma
Experience: Candidates need experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Type of crops: Bell peppers, Cucumbers and Tomatoes
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to work overtime, in fast-paced environment, perform repetitive tasks, handle heavy loads, pay attention to detail, stand for extended periods and also for bending, crouching, kneeling
- The candidate should be physically strong
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be a team player and also have efficient interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able for hand harvesting vegetables
- The candidate should be able to plant, cultivate and irrigate crops, fertilize and spray crops and also harvest crops
