Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have High School Diploma or GED preferred
Experience: Candidates should have sales experience
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to provide and ensure prompt and courteous member service by answering member questions, demonstrating products, and explaining features. They should also assist members in loading products into their carts
- The candidates should be able to read industry magazines and product reviews to maintain current knowledge of technology and trends in the sales area’s products. They should also read literature and experiment with products to learn their functions and specifications
- The candidates should be able to communicate with the Area Manager regarding quantity, status, price, delivery, and promotion of merchandise
- The candidates should be able to follow merchandising standards and practices, including setting up, cleaning, and maintaining product displays. They should align and face products to the front, collect and return stray items, and stock to maintain high product levels
- The candidates should be able to check and approve products for member returns and ensure the accuracy of product signage and marking
- The candidates should be able to participate in merchandise moves, review lists of items for forklift drivers to place in the aisles for stocking, and actively stock merchandise
- The candidates should be able to organize the security item lock-up, clear debris from the sales floor and security lock-up, and sweep the floor
