Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or Intermediate or a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have a minimum ten (10+) years of strategic insights/consumer research experience

  • The candidates should drive actionable recommendations rooted in a profound understanding of marketing, business, and consumer insights and act as a key strategic business partner and thought leader for the BU Marketing team
  • The candidates should showcase exceptional communication skills by delivering concise insights that foster empathy and storytelling across the organization and tackle ambiguity with a strong results-oriented approach and demonstrate project leadership skills
  • The candidates should possess the ability to analyze data and identify patterns to inform strategic brand action and  prioritize multiple work streams and competing priorities, devising implementable plans for the team
  • The candidates should thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and demonstrate intellectual curiosity, creative insight, and a drive for tangible results
  • The candidates should have the capability to influence stakeholders at senior levels and drive meaningful impact and mentor and lead teams to foster knowledge-sharing and develop a high-impact team culture
  • The candidates should have previous experience in people leadership and proficiency with various qualitative and quantitative research tools across advertising, innovation, brand building, and syndicated services
  • The candidates should have experience working across a diverse product portfolio, especially on the manufacturer/client-side, which is highly desirable and leadership credentials that include a track record of driving vision, with prior people management experience being mandatory and possess a high level of experience in analytical tools and demonstrate a high degree of emotional intelligence and adeptness in building effective working relationships
  • The candidates should exhibit a high tolerance for ambiguity and possess experience in leading change management and transformation initiatives and comfortable and proficient in utilizing POS (Nielsen/IRI), panel data, and social listening analytics
  • The candidates should be proficient in storytelling through creative, influential, and impactful means, with excellent communication, organization, and presentation skills across the Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to serve as the Key Point of Contact for the Business Unit, acting as the primary lead to drive critical initiatives across the platform
  • The candidates should be able to uncover genuine consumer insights and pain points across the platform, assisting in identifying growth opportunities for brands that contribute to long-term equity and innovation efforts
  • The candidates should be able to leverage strategic work to identify areas for innovation, partnering with marketing and Rand D to identify, develop, and size a multi-year pipeline of new products
  • The candidates should be able to demonstrate proficiency in developing and leading integrated, comprehensive research plans across key areas of marketing, including Communication tests, Product/Claim tests, Packaging tests, for both existing and new products
  • The candidates should be able to contribute to shaping the 3-year Growth Strategy and assist teams in translating it into brand-specific annual marketing plans, encompassing strategy development, creative execution, and optimization
  • The candidates should be able to actively participate in driving the Enterprise Transformation Agenda, aiding in the development of consumer insights standard methodologies and initiatives to establish a centre of excellence
  • The candidates should be able to utilize insights to continually build brands that resonate with consumers, driving brand affinity and loyalty
  • The candidates should be able to lead a team effectively, including managing and mentoring 3 direct reports, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment
