Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Area of specialization: Landscape construction, landscaping, and snow removal
Construction specialization: Driveways, Industrial, commercial and institutional, Residential, Roads and bridges, Sidewalks and curbs, Poured concrete, retaining walls
Equipment and machinery experience: Concrete vibrators, Screeds, Reciprocating saws, Circular saws, Concrete saws, Mortar and concrete mixers, Grinding machine, Chippers, Jackhammers, Air compressors, Air guns, Nail guns, Drills, Augers, Trampers (Jumping Jack), Chain saw, Compactor, Sledgehammer, and Hand tools
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be comfortable with physically demanding tasks
• The candidates should be able to meet tight deadlines and possess manual dexterity
• The candidates should be familiar with repetitive tasks and handle heavy loads, demonstrating hand-eye coordination
• The candidates should be willing to work overtime as required and be comfortable with sitting as part of their duties
• The candidates should be able to handle weight up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
• The candidates should be comfortable working outdoors and prepared to work in dusty conditions
• The candidates should be able to work in noisy environments

• The candidates should have to prioritize client focus, demonstrating efficient interpersonal skills and a strong sense of dependability
• The candidate should exhibit flexibility and reliability while working effectively as part of a team

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to load, unload, and transport construction materials, erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades, and mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
• The candidates should be able to pave and rake asphalt, clean and pile salvaged materials, and clean up chemical spills and other contaminants
• The candidates should be able to remove rubble and other debris at construction sites, tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction, and direct traffic at or near construction sites
• The candidates should be able to read and interpret blueprints and assist with landscape constructions by planting bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees, as well as laying sod or seed
• The candidates should be able to help the medical examiner in charge and assist with other construction site activities as needed
