Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable working outdoors in dusty, hot, and noisy conditions
- The candidates should handle heavy loads and endure physically demanding tasks, including standing for extended periods
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints
- The candidates should be able to apply, level, and smooth coats of plaster
- The candidates should be able to clean and prepare surfaces
- The candidates should be able to cure freshly plastered surfaces
- The candidates should be able to finish corners and angles and create decorative designs in the finish coat if required
- The candidates should be able to mix plaster ingredients to the desired consistency
- The candidates should be able to mould and install ornamental plaster panels, cornices, and trim
- The candidates should be able to trowel or spray coats of stucco over exteriors of buildings to form weatherproof surfaces
