Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have considerable experience in the relevant field

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be individuals with demonstrated customer service and interpersonal skills, applying effective telephone techniques, customer service principles, and quality standards when dealing with inquiries
  • The candidates should demonstrate the ability to use judgment to resolve customer issues, identify anomalies, and recognize the need to escalate
  • The candidates should demonstrate the ability to complete work within acceptable timeframes in a high-volume environment
  • The candidates should have computer proficiency with software, word processing, e-mail, spreadsheets, databases, and internet applications

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should possess the ability to maintain confidentiality with information of a sensitive and confidential nature
  • The candidates should exhibit written communication skills to document problem tickets or correspond with internal clients
  • The candidates should possess organizational and multitasking skills to plan, prioritize, and coordinate work activities
  • The candidates should have knowledge of research and information gathering methods, techniques, and tools to access relevant and accurate information
  • The candidates should possess demonstrated mathematical skills to assist with payment inquiries and discrepancies
  • The candidates should have demonstrated experience working effectively in a team environment and oral communication skills to elicit information and provide guidance to clients when responding to inquiries clearly and concisely

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to respond to and log Tier 2 and Tier 3 phone calls covering a broad range of inquiries from medical professionals by following the guidelines, policies, and processes of the Operational Support Stream
  • The candidates should be able to assist clients with submissions of electronic claims and complex claims issues while escalating where appropriate
    The candidates should be part of a highly dynamic team transforming Health Service Delivery for our clients
  • The candidates should be able to treat health information as highly confidential
