Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Security and safety: Child Abuse Registry check, Criminal record check and Driving record check (abstract)
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be non-smokers
- The candidates should demonstrate a strong attention to detail in their work
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
- The candidates should be able to shop for food and household supplies and travel with the family on trips, assisting with child supervision and housekeeping duties
- The candidates should be able to wash, iron, and press clothing and household linens, care for pets, and bathe, dress, and feed infants and children
- The candidates should be able to discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, and keep records of daily activities and health information
- The candidates should be able to maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, organize activities such as games and outings for children, and prepare and serve nutritious meals
- The candidates should be able to prepare infants and children for rest periods, sterilize bottles, prepare formulas, change diapers for infants, supervise and care for children, tend to the emotional well-being of children, and help children with homework
