Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Equipment and machinery experience: Deep fryer, Grill

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, handling repetitive tasks, and demonstrating the ability to work effectively under pressure and uplift weight to 9 kg (20 lbs)

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada

  • The candidate should be able to clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units, ensuring hygienic conditions in the kitchen
  • The candidate should be able to clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs promptly, maintaining a clean and organized dining environment
  • The candidate should be able to load buspans and trays accurately, preparing them for further use in service
  • The candidate should be able to operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware, following proper procedures for effective cleaning
  • The candidate should be able to place dishes in the storage area systematically, ensuring easy access and organization
  • The candidate should be able to sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand meticulously, adhering to hygiene standards
  • The candidate should be able to scour pots and pans thoroughly, removing any residue and ensuring cleanliness
  • The candidate should be able to keep records of the quantities of food used accurately, assisting in inventory management
  • The candidate should be able to package take-out food neatly and securely, preparing it for customers
  • The candidate should be able to portion and wrap foods appropriately, maintaining portion control and presentation standards
  • The candidate should be able to prepare, heat, and finish simple food items according to established recipes and procedures
  • The candidate should be able to serve customers at counters or buffet tables courteously and efficiently, providing excellent customer service
  • The candidate should be able to stock refrigerators and salad bars with fresh ingredients, ensuring availability during service hours
