Salary: $512.00 Weekly for 30 to 34 hours per week Minimum wage is guaranteed

Location: Windsor, NS
Shifts: Evening, Night, Early Morning
Transportation information: Own transportation, travel expenses not paid by employer, and public transportation is not available
Work setting: Work in employer’s/client’s home, office building, rural area, health care institution, facility, or clinic, and employer’s home
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Area of specialization: Specialized environmental skills and knowledge
Credentials: Housekeeping room attendant certification and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be non-smoking
- The candidates should be able to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be punctual, arriving on time for shifts and appointments
- The candidates should be organized, maintaining tidy workspaces and schedules
- The candidates should be reliable, fulfilling their duties and commitments consistently

Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain cleanliness
- The candidates should be able to dust furniture thoroughly and efficiently
- The candidates should be able to vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture with attention to detail
- The candidates should be able to distribute clean towels, toiletries, and other amenities as required
- The candidates should be able to stock the linen closet with fresh linens and supplies
- The candidates should be able to disinfect operating rooms, along with other designated areas, following established protocols
- The candidates should be able to pick up debris and empty trash containers promptly and regularly
- The candidates should be able to launder clothing and household linens with care
- The candidates should be able to perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties efficiently
- The candidates should be able to wash windows, walls, and ceilings to maintain a clean environment
- The candidates should be able to clean changing rooms, showers, and other designated areas thoroughly
