Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 3 years to less than 5 years
Area of specialization: Structural construction
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Credentials: Occupational Health and Safety Certificate and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
Security and safety: Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable working outdoors in various conditions and adaptable to cold/refrigerated working environments
- The candidates should be able to work at heights as required and in confined spaces, and be prepared to work in dusty conditions
- The candidates should be able to tolerate hot working environments, be accustomed to noisy working conditions, and work in areas with various odors
- The candidates should be capable of thriving in a fast-paced work environment, proficient in handling repetitive tasks, and able to handle heavy loads as part of their responsibilities
- The candidates should be prepared for physically demanding tasks, exhibit excellent manual dexterity, and demonstrate a high level of attention to detail
- The candidates should possess proficient hand-eye coordination, be comfortable standing for extended periods, and be open to working overtime as required
- The candidates should be able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) as needed
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should possess excellent oral communication skills
- The candidates should be well-organized in managing tasks and responsibilities
- The candidates should be effective team players, collaborating seamlessly with colleagues
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to interpret welding process specifications and operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment
- The candidates should be able to read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes
- The candidates should be able to examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications
- The candidates should be able to operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment and fit, braze, and torch-straighten metal
- The candidates should be able to operate hoisting and lifting equipment and previously set-up brazing or soldering machines to bond metal or fill holes, indentations, and seams of metal
