Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English and French Language
Education: Candidates should have half completion of an Accounting designation
Experience: Candidates should have 5 years of payroll experience

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have sound knowledge of computerized payroll and financial systems
  • The candidates should have completed a 2nd level of Canadian Payroll coursework
  • The candidates should clearly identify their eligibility to receive priority consideration under the Affirmative Action Policy
  • The candidates should provide a satisfactory criminal record check. Failure to provide a satisfactory check may deem candidates disqualified from the competition

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to assist in ensuring the accuracy of financial transaction processing, particularly in relation to employee pay and benefits
  • The candidates should be able to process complex transactions related to MLAs, Ministers, Judges, CEOs and Deputy Ministers
  • The candidates should be able to handle transaction processing for unique and specialized transactions pertaining to the mentioned individuals, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations and policies

  • The candidates will get an annual Northern Allowance of $3700.00 and Public Service Pension Plan
