Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English and French Language
Education: Candidates should have half completion of an Accounting designation
Experience: Candidates should have 5 years of payroll experience
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have sound knowledge of computerized payroll and financial systems
- The candidates should have completed a 2nd level of Canadian Payroll coursework
- The candidates should clearly identify their eligibility to receive priority consideration under the Affirmative Action Policy
- The candidates should provide a satisfactory criminal record check. Failure to provide a satisfactory check may deem candidates disqualified from the competition
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to assist in ensuring the accuracy of financial transaction processing, particularly in relation to employee pay and benefits
- The candidates should be able to process complex transactions related to MLAs, Ministers, Judges, CEOs and Deputy Ministers
- The candidates should be able to handle transaction processing for unique and specialized transactions pertaining to the mentioned individuals, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations and policies
