Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English or French Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have sales experience or experience in customer service in a retail environment

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to exercise physical effort in the handling of mail items weighing up to 22.7 kilograms (50 pounds
  • The candidates should be able to maintain floor displays

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should clearly demonstrate how they meet the requirements, as Canada Post cannot make assumptions about their education and experience

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to perform a variety of sales/customer service activities to ensure complete customer satisfaction

  • The candidates should be able to process financial transactions (cash, cheques, debit & credit card payments)
  • The candidates should be able to receive, sort, and sequence mail items
  • The candidates should be able to conduct Merchandizing and Inventory Control
