Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English or French Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to distinguish between colors, be attentive to detail, and be capable of bending, crouching, and kneeling
  • The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, handle heavy loads, and perform repetitive tasks
  • The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods and work under pressure

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should be organized, reliable, and a team player

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to keep the shop and warehouse clean, provide customer service, and prepare price quotations
  • The candidates should be able to process files and paperwork, calculate costs of orders, and prepare and maintain purchasing files, reports, and records
  • The candidates should be able to prepare purchase orders, process purchases, and resolve delivery and other problems with suppliers
  • The candidates should be able to review requisition orders for accuracy, set up and maintain an inventory control system, and verify stock availability from current inventories
  • The candidates should be able to compile inventory reports, conduct quality control, and liaise with Canada Customs
  • The candidates should be able to maintain stock rotation, monitor inventory levels of issued materials and stocks, and pack items for shipping and distribution
  • The candidates should be able to place stock on shelves, prepare inventory costs, retail pricing, and profit reports, and prepare requisition orders to replenish stock
  • The candidates should be able to reconcile physical inventories with computer counts, record the quantity, type, and value of stock on hand using computerized or manual inventory systems, and verify receipts and packing slips
